Hello, Vernal and all of my Uintah Basin neighbors! Labor Day is behind us, school is back in session, and fall is right around the corner. It’s one of my favorite times of year in the Basin! This fall is especially meaningful as we prepare for the final year of the Vernal Haunt, an event we are proud to sponsor. Over the years, the Vernal Haunt has donated more than $450,000 to local charities while becoming a favorite fall tradition in our community. We hope everyone will come out and help make its final season one to remember!

Community involvement has always been important to me and my team. This summer we were proud to sponsor and participate in the Rotary Car Show, Freedom Fest and the Vernal “Dinosaur” Days Balloon Festival. We also had another successful Alive After 5, cooking for charitable groups and helping feed more than 600 people. We were proud to once again participate in the 69th Annual Shriners BBQ, helping raise thousands of dollars for Shriners Children’s in Salt Lake City.
In addition to Auto, Home and Life Insurance, our office helps customers with Business Insurance, Renters Insurance, Condo Insurance and other insurance needs throughout Utah. We especially enjoy helping new neighbors who are moving to Vernal or the Uintah Basin and customers transferring their insurance to Utah from another state.
With my background in financial management, a BS in Finance from Louisiana Tech University and an RICP designation from The American College, I believe in taking the time to explain your insurance options and answer your questions. Insurance doesn't have to be complicated, and my team and I work hard to provide the personal, local service our customers deserve.
Vernal is home, and giving back to our community has always been important to me. I am a Past President of the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce and previously served as Chairman of the Uintah County Fire District. I have also been honored as Citizen of the Year by the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce and the Uintah Basin Realtors.
Over the years, I’ve enjoyed supporting the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and the Rotary Club, where I served as President in 2003–04 and again in 2012–13. I have also been proud to support Special 0lympics since 2013. From 2012 through 2023, I was honored to be recognized as a Favorite Insurance Agent by Vernal Express readers before the recognition program was discontinued in 2024.
